Yes. And don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. So lets get started.
How will this website help me do it?
It will provide you with information on the leading Tools, Treatments & Techniques to assist in your recovery. It won’t try to convince you of any one particular method. But will make sure whichever path you choose is an educated one.
There’s alot of information here. What do I read First?
Start by reading the First Seven Steps to Healing. Then bookmark the site or subscribe by email and come back later to learn about specific Tools, Treatments and Techniques as they become relevant to you.
Whats a Tool? Treatment? And Technique?
I’ve split all the articles on this website into 3 catergoies.
Tools are posts containing information, research, articles & downloads to educate you.ie A template for keeping an energy log, or an interview with an expert.
Treatments are posts describing leading supplements, medications & therapies. ie. Vitamin B12, Probiotics.
Techniques are posts exploring lifestyle changes, methods & skills to help you recover. ie Yoga, How to educate your friends.
Where does the information come from? And why should I believe it?
- My experience. I’ve had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 6 years and road tested many of these methods along the way.
- My research. I’ve spent many hours studying books, listening to other patients and consulting with Doctors to formulate an extensive healing protocol which I believe will see me return to optimal health. (As you can imagine, I’m a little excited by this prospect.)
Am I 100% Recovered?
Not yet. But I lead a fulfilling and balanced life.
Who Shot JFK?
I’m still working on that one…
How can I help?
Share your experience. Make this website better.
I encourage you to leave upbeat and inspiring comments. Most useful would be a brief account of your own experiences with any the Treatments, Tools and Techniques mentioned. Why and for How Long did you use them? Did they work? Why or Why not? etc.
In the name of Good Health!
Joe

I’m proud of you Joe! You’re born to help the world! Hopefully this blog is the first step!
I love you!
Just found your blog! Lots of good info!
Thanks Sipora/Little Bird. Hope its helpful and brings a smile to your dial.
Hello Joe
Just found your blog and wanted to write a comment. I work with people who have CFS/ME and always amazed doctors or consultants say there is no cure for CFS/ME. It can be challenging to change their viewpoint. If you beleive it’s not possible to recover – changes are you won’t. I love your comment “Is it possible to get better. Yes. And don’t let anyone tell you otherwise”. A positive attitude makes a lot of different when recovering.
Love your site, it’s full of information, positivity and optimism.
Wishing you all the best
Linda
Howdy Linda!
Thanks for the friendly feedback, I really appreciate.
I couldn’t agree with you more. Positivity is key on so many levels, after all ‘pain is inevitable, while suffering is optional’.
I have come across many people that have returned to a very high quality of life after years spent struggling with chronic illness. The trick seems to be persistence, information and discipline. And the ability to laugh at yourself!
Good luck in your work. Stay in touch.
All the very best
Joe
Ps. Apologies for the delay in getting back to you, I’ve been busy with another project and also cuddling my girlfriend in France…
Hi Joe,
Just searched for me/cfs Candida in google and your website appeared! a very lovely place to stumble across and I am glad I have
Well done for setting this up and for all the work I can see you’ve put into it. This must have been quite a challenge for you as it would have been for anybody let alone those with me/cfs! I can also see you got/get great joy from doing it which makes any challenge worth its weight in gold! I’m very excited to have found this.
I have been documenting my own personal journey to recovery (http://jemmame.blogspot.co.uk/) in the hope that others will relate to it and/or find some help within it. I very much have the same mentality as you, which is why I warmed to you instantly. Sadly at the moment its fair to say I’m at my worst, but this hasn’t squashed my belief that one day I will get better, in fact its making me hungry for it even more.
Wishing you all the best in your personal battle and I have no doubt you’ll succeed in whatever targets you set yourself. Go Joe! Im right behind you on this one!
x Jem

Hey Joe,
Jose
Excellent job.its so refreshing to see and read a website that is full of good advice, positivity and humour. Love your work. It’s easy to get bogged down with such a condition and next time I’m on the misery bus I’ll refer to your site. I wish you well in your journey and thanks for taking the effort to care about others.
Thanks Jose! These are the messages that light up my day.
Next time your on the misery bus try taking the wheel and accelerating really fast towards the edge of a cliff, then jump out the door at the last minute and watch it explode in classic James Bond style on the rocks below. Works for me
Stay in touch mate, health is just around the corner!
